It’s been a dream of mine to start a gaming website, and channels for years and I’m finally getting to act on that dream. I believe gaming, and especially cozy gaming has huge mental health benefits. It’s mindful, or meditative escapism and we could all use more of that in our lives.
This website is dedicated to cozy gaming in all its forms. Whether it’s developing the perfect, peaceful farm, decorating your home, exploring magical forests, solving gentle puzzles, questing, or simply getting lost in a beautifully crafted world, I’ll be sharing the games that make me want to curl up and escape from everyday life.
To me cozy gaming can also be found in other genres of games. We all have something in a game that is our safe place, or way to relax. That’s not necessarily just conventional cozy games. It could be smashing stuff up, driving like a lunatic and even some combat. What matters is that feel of non-pressured time. That’s what cozy gaming means to me.
Cozy gaming does mean different things to different people, and that’s part of what makes the genre so wonderful. For some, it is more conventional, it’s fishing by a quiet lake, organising inventories, decorating villages, befriending quirky characters, or simply wandering through beautiful landscapes with nowhere particular to be. You get to decide how you cozy. There isn’t one right way to play. You are in charge. Cozy gaming is your time.
I won’t just tell you what a game is about. I want to share how it feels to play. Does it help you unwind after a stressful day? Is it the sort of game you’ll lose an entire Sunday to? Is it worth your time and money? The games section on this site contains games I recommend. They are not exactly reviews; I’ll share what they are about. They won’t show good and bad because so often, what we love in a game is what annoyed a reviewer. I’ll give you all the info and let you make your own mind up.
The blog section, right here, is where I’ll share general gaming chatter, based on my own experiences, previews of upcoming releases, recommendations for hidden gems, buying guides, and features exploring what makes cozy games so special.
Above all, I want this to be a friendly, welcoming place for everyone, from lifelong gamers to people picking up a controller for the very first time. Gaming should be relaxing, inclusive, and fun, and that’s the atmosphere I hope this site reflects.
